Capacitive touch screen/panel (TP) includes 2 and 3 layers. The top payer is protection cover and the material can be tempering glass, acrylic & PET. The bottom layer is called function or sensor layer. The function layer can be a piece of glass or PET with ITO coating on both side surface. It also can be 2 pieces of PET. Each PET will only have ITO coating on the side facing to the top cover. With different material and structure, we call it G+G, G+F, G+F+F structure. Cap TP can provide the I2C and USB I/O interface on its FPC. It also will have the FPC without any IC on it. It needs the USB or I2C driver board to connect its FPC. The driver board will provide the I2C or USB I/O interface to user. The Cap TP can identify 1-10 touch points in the same time. The Res TP only can identify 1 point. CT can provide the customization for any size of Cap TP and artwork printing on its TP cover. Not only size, artwork, size can be customized but also the TP cover can be increased anti-fingerprinting, mirror and even anti-bacterial.
